New Book Published

My latest book, “Master’s Guide to Off-Camera Flash” is available at Amazon and other book outlets. Published by Amherst Media, it’s my first solo title, having co-authored two previous photography books. Future posts will highlight some of the photographs and stories behind them. As a lifelong photojournalist it’s interesting that I was commissioned to write...

Ronald McDonald House Charities

I love what I do. Photography has been my only job since entering college. It’s exciting, creatively fulfilling, and has paid the bills. I’m passionate about it, often feeling like I eat, sleep, live, and breath photography. In the past 1/2 dozen years or so, many of my assignments have met the above criteria and...

“Off With Their Heads”

… but please, not mine. It was fun having the Red Queen stop by for her “Official Portrait” on Halloween. My friend Kellie  from Professional Restoration played her role to perfection complete with accent. As the Queen, she projects an awesome, “Off with their heads” command that’s for sure. ABOUT My blog

I'm working hard this year to overcome my love / hate relationship with blogging. Over the years, I've looked at is as a difficult chore, a task to be done on a regular basis.

Guess what? Not many posts were produced. In fact, none in 2023.

Changing up my attitude in 2024. Will post because I have stories to share. When writing about the amazing adventures and experiences from "back in the day", it's fun and often enlightening to relive those memories.

Also posting about present day events and photo subjects allows for "real time' sharing of those experiences.
