Can you say “Cheese”?

That’s one phrase I never use when photographing someone. Never. But it’s a word I sure value in it’s original context. These photographs were taken on assignment for “Culture” the internationally acclaimed magazine devoted to… yep… Cheese! Art Director/Designer Carol Bobolts of Red Herring Design and I had several conversations about the way to approach...

15 Minutes Of Fame

Only 15 minutes? That’s an eternity in our fast-paced world, and  I’ve really had several hours of fame thanks to my friends at Crazy Shirts. I bought a couple pairs of their Canton Pants, liked ‘um so much that I sent a letter to them. Surprise, surprise when I find my quote and name featured in...

RIP Russell Means

Russell Means died today at age 72, at his ranch on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation – according to the New York Times. ABOUT My blog

I'm working hard this year to overcome my love / hate relationship with blogging. Over the years, I've looked at is as a difficult chore, a task to be done on a regular basis.

Guess what? Not many posts were produced. In fact, none in 2023.

Changing up my attitude in 2024. Will post because I have stories to share. When writing about the amazing adventures and experiences from "back in the day", it's fun and often enlightening to relive those memories.

Also posting about present day events and photo subjects allows for "real time' sharing of those experiences.
