Long Glass for Mirrorless Cameras

When I was shooting lots of editorial photo assignments for Sports Illustrated and the other Time/Life news magazines telephoto lenses (long glass) were always in use. They were big, heavy, awkward to carry and required the use of a monopod or tripod to insure a sharp image. These lenses included the 300mm f/2.8, a 400mm...

ABOUT My blog

I'm working hard this year to overcome my love / hate relationship with blogging. Over the years, I've looked at is as a difficult chore, a task to be done on a regular basis.

Guess what? Not many posts were produced. In fact, none in 2023.

Changing up my attitude in 2024. Will post because I have stories to share. When writing about the amazing adventures and experiences from "back in the day", it's fun and often enlightening to relive those memories.

Also posting about present day events and photo subjects allows for "real time' sharing of those experiences.
